Design Strategy Packages

Our straightforward pricing structure lets you choose which tier best aligns with the goals of your project. If you have more than one space in mind, you can stack packages for your project as needed. Each package comes with a comprehensive digital presentation, see below for details.

The Design Strategy Package is a stress-free, simplified solution for anyone looking to elevate specific spaces without committing to a full redesign process. This package provides actionable recommendations, expert insights, and curated guidance that you can use to implement your design independently or share with a builder.

This is your starting point for exploring design ideas and making confident, informed choices as you move forward. Includes: suggestions for furniture, finishes, lighting, millwork, and décor.

Who is this for?

  • Clients who want aesthetic & functional direction before making purchasing or renovation decisions.

  • Those looking for a quick turnaround and structured recommendations.

  • Best for clients seeking a simple, high-level design guide for inspiration and how to achieve their intended aesthetic.

    Included:

    • Design Concept + Style Guide – Includes a mood board, style recommendations, color palette and finish recommendations as well as a written overview defining the design style and key elements to look for when sourcing items.

    • Preliminary Furniture + Décor Suggestions – General guidance on key pieces to align with the design vision.

    • Recommended Retailers + Sourcing Suggestions – A list of stores and resources tailored to the project style and budget.

    • Sustainable Design Insights – Key certifications, materials, and responsible sourcing tips to support eco-friendly choices.

    Total Cost: $500

  • Best for clients who want a more detailed and actionable plan for their space, and/or the space is more complex, requiring technical lighting, plumbing or millwork guidelines.

    Includes All Tier 1 Deliverables, plus:

    • Lighting + Plumbing Fixture Guidelines – Detailed guidelines and technical insights to support mood, functionality, and overall design intent.

    • Millwork Concepts + Finish Selections – Cabinet styles, countertop options, and finish recommendations to best achieve project goals. 

    • FF+E  Guidelines – Curated furniture, fixtures, and equipment selections with specific examples tailored to the project and focused on function rather than style or aesthetics. 

    • Enhanced Functional Guidelines – Best practices and space planning,  flow and organization strategies to optimize usability and efficiency.

  • How It Works

    1. Schedule Your Consultation
      -Select your preferred package and email us at hello@goodfolkdesignstudio.com to book your consultation.
      -To secure your spot, you will receive a Consultation Agreement to sign, after which, you will send a $100 deposit (consultation fee) to secure your session.

    2. Collaborate on Your Vision
      -We will send you a Pre-Consultation Survey to fill out that will need to be completed before we meet. Feel free to share any inspiration images or images of retained pieces or key materials to our team’s email as well.
      -During the 30-minute online consultation, we’ll guide the conversation with targeted questions and reference images to ensure we fully understand your space and goals.

    3. Finalize & Receive Your Design Package
      -After the consultation, confirm if you'd like to move forward with a Design Strategy Package. If so, you’ll receive a detailed Service Contract outlining the full scope and deliverables of your chosen package.
      -Once the Service Contract is signed and full payment for the Design Strategy Package of your choice is received, your personalized design presentation and guidelines will be delivered within 1 week, giving you everything you need to start bringing your vision to life.

Technical Design Package

The Technical Design Package is a solution for homeowners, business owners and builders seeking professionally developed construction-ready documents without full-service design management. 

Building on the Design Strategy Package, which provides concept development and aesthetic direction, the Technical Design Package takes the next step - delivering permit documentation, technical specifications, and detailed construction drawings to guide your builder or contractor through execution.

Who is this for? 

  • Homeowners or business owners who need construction documents to execute their project.

  • Builders and contractors who require permit documentation for construction.

  • Clients who are professionally equipped and do not need a design team for full project management.

  • Our Technical Design Package is customized based on project scope, with pricing and timelines determined per project. The following deliverables are a part of our Technical Pack offering, and the number of drawings and complexity of the project will determine the project timeline and pricing. 

    • All Design Strategy Tier 2 Deliverables  – including concept design, FF+E, lighting, and plumbing recommendations and guidelines, etc. (as required)

    • Permit Documentation Set (as required)

    • Millwork + Custom Cabinetry Drawings  (as required)

    • Plumbing + Electrical Plans(as required)

    • Material + Finish Specifications(Selections only if required, no procurement or trade discounts)

      • During the 90-minute, on-site consultation itself, we’ll guide the conversation with targeted questions and take some preliminary measurements of the space.

    3. Confirm Your Technical Pack Scope and Schedule

      • After the consultation, we will create a scope of services, pricing, and project schedule based on our discussion and review of your space(s) and needs, which can be tweaked and adjusted based on your feedback.

      • If you would then like to move forward with a Technical Design Package, you’ll receive a detailed contract with your chosen scope and deliverables.

      • Once the Service Contract is signed and full payment (or first payment depending on the contract agreement) for the Technical Design Package  is received, we will begin work as per the agreed schedule. 

Full-Service Design Package

Our Full-Service Design Package is perfect for clients who want a comprehensive, hands-off design experience. Whether you are renovating, building new, or looking for an end-to-end design solution, our team manages every step - from initial concepts to final execution.

For a truly seamless process, we also offer optional procurement services so that every furniture piece and finish is carefully sourced, ordered, and coordinated to bring your vision to life - we take care of everything.

    • Construction-Ready Drawings – Includes permitting plans, elevations, millwork drawings, and electrical layouts.

    • FF&E Specification + Ordering – We handle furniture, fixtures, and finish orders, passing on trade discounts when applicable.

    • Project Coordination & Management – We work with your contractors to ensure your vision is executed smoothly.

1. Discovery Call

Let’s kick things off with a free 15-minute call to discuss your project ideas and get to know each other.

2. Onsite Consultation

We’ll schedule a paid consultation for one of our designers to come for a site visit. Beforehand, you’ll fill out a detailed intake form, and during the meeting, we’ll review your needs and start to map out your vision together. (Excluding Design Strategy Packages).

3. Design Proposal

We’ll present a custom design proposal and work with you to choose the perfect package to bring your vision to life.

4. Design Agreement

Once we’ve aligned on the details, we’ll finalize the design contract and begin creating a space that’s uniquely yours!

What to Expect
