Our passion for learning drives us to connect with clients and professionals who share our vision.
Our Pillars
Genuine Relationships
As a small boutique firm, we prioritize building strong, personalized relationships with our clients. Our size allows us to focus on clear communication and collaboration, working together to refine ideas and achieve results that genuinely reflect our clients vision.
Evidence-Based Solutions
We base our designs on secondary research and a commitment to continuous learning. By applying concepts from neuroaesthetics, ergonomics, and environmental psychology, we create spaces that are functional, efficient, and supportive.
Retained Resources
We focus on maximizing existing resources and incorporating upcycled materials to reduce waste and save costs. By reusing and repurposing, we create functional spaces and minimize environmental impact, considering each product's lifecycle from cradle to grave.
Healthy Materials
We prioritize materials that enhance human health and protect environmental health. By selecting products free from harmful chemicals, we enhance indoor air quality, reduce allergens, and improve overall comfort.
Nature-Integrated Design
Our design philosophy centers on connecting with nature. We integrate thoughtful space planning with the use of natural materials, biophilic patterns and forms to enrich how we experience the built environment.
Our Team
We bring diverse expertise from backgrounds in business management, project management, graphic design, and technical coordination. Throughout our time in school, we collaborated on internationally recognized research and nationally acclaimed student design projects, setting the foundation for our professional work together.
Our team is driven by a commitment to social and environmental responsibility. We are actively involved with professional organizations such as IDIBC Climate Action and Innovation Committee, IDC Advocacy Committee, DTalks Design Week Committee and more, as well as pursuing WELL AP and LEED Professional designations to enhance our expertise and impact.

Michelle Bedard | BID
Co-Founder / Designer
Ever the lover of education, Michelle obtained her Certificate in Interior Design at BCIT, then successively completed her Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) Degree at KPU. What Michelle finds most fascinating about Interior Design is the psychology behind a well-built space. Subtle shifts and details can greatly impact how the brain reacts to space; these are the details Michelle digs into for each project.
Michelle has many interests outside of Interiors, such as graphic design and visual arts, but Interior Design is her lifelong pursuit. With experience in residential and multi-family interiors, Michelle brings a keen eye to any design solution.
